Biography

Alyssa was just four years old when she began her dance journey with Sue Bottrill Dance Studio in Cambridge, achieving 10 years of training in ballet, jazz, acrobats, and lyrical with the studio before its closure in 2011. Her love for dance led her to join the Eastwood Collegiate Institute Integrated Arts Program where she, under the direction of Janis Price, earned a leadership award for the Kinesis Dance Company and an award for Outstanding Solo Choreography in the 2015 Ontario Secondary School Dancefest. She continued to train at Element Dance Arts in Cambridge throughout high school and completed her Intermediate RAD Ballet Exam with merit.

Since then, Alyssa has received training with the School of Toronto Dance Theatre and performed in stage works choreographed by Darryl Tracy and Julia Sasso. She has participated in various shows, photoshoots, and videos for professional and emerging multi-disciplinary artists in the K-W and GTA regions. She also recently completed a commissioned piece for Unwrap Theatre.

Alyssa hopes to continue to support the arts in her community and offer people of all ages a comfortable environment to express themselves through the art of dance.
